FELTON - Constance Roberta (nee Forbes) Hart passed away peacefully at her home in Felton, on March 17, 2014, surrounded by her family. Constance was born in Queens, N.Y., on Jan. 14, 1931, the daughter of the late Robert and Martha Forbes. She and her husband of 62 years, John, moved to Delaware from their home in Bethpage, N.Y. in 1996. In a short time, she cultivated many close and enduring friendships, and she will be greatly missed by all. In addition to her husband, Constance is survived by her beautiful daughters, Deborah Moore, Denise Weber, and Darlene Tahany; sons-in-law, Col. (Ret.) James Weber and Sean Tahany; she was adored by her grandchildren, Deputy U.S. Marshal Michael Moore, Deputy U.S. Marshal Matthew Moore, Captain (Ret.) John Weber, Major James Weber, Jr., Jessica Weber, Breanna Tahany, Aidan Tahany, and Caroline Tahany. She forged close, loving relationships with her grand daughters-in-law, Catherine Moore, Carina Weber, and Katherine Weber as well as her great-grandchildren, Jonathan Weber, Jason Weber, Jennifer Weber, Nora Weber, Clare Weber, Abigail Moore, and Elizabeth Moore. She will be especially missed by her faithful dog, Sammy. In addition to her parents, Constance was preceded in death by her twin sons, John and Robert; and son-in-law, Thomas Moore. Viewing will be private. A Mass of Christian Burial open to all will be held at Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover, DE., on Thursday, March 20, 2014 at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family recommends donations be made to the Meals On Wheels Program of the Modern Maturity Center in Dover.
