Constance Howell Jones

PRIME HOOK NECK - Constance Howell "Connie" Jones passed away peacefully on Friday, July 27, 2018 at Milford Center.
Connie worked with the Cape Henlopen School District for 30 years, and retired from the district office several years ago. She was a member of Slaughter Neck U.M. Church. Connie enjoyed watching her grandchildren and great granddaughter play sports. She cherished trips to Walt Disney World with her family, and listening to music.
Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Harry "Dutch" and Evelyn Howell; and a brother, Richard "Dickie" Howell.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Theodore W. Jones; two daughters, Lisa Jones and her partner Stanley West, and Lesley Stayton and her husband Grier Stayton; three grandchildren, Blair Rogers, Sadie Jones and her husband Kyle Ogden, and Jake Jones and his fiancé Courtney Mocko; one great granddaughter, Swayze Rogers; two brothers, Bruce Howell and his wife Bonnie, and David Howell and his wife Joanne; and a sister-in-law, Wanda Howell.
Services will be held privately.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Connie's memory are welcome to be made to Slaughter Neck U.M. Church or Slaughter Neck Cemetery, c/o Mr. Brent Rhue, PO Box 241, Milford, DE 19963.
