Colleen Marie Denham

DOVER - Colleen Marie Denham passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2018 at the University of Pennsylvania.
Colleen was born July 4, 1957 in Ticonderoga, N.Y. to the late John Mascarenas and Shirley Larrow Mascarenas.
She worked for 14 years at Aetna, following that Colleen was an administrative assistant at the State Treasurer for 11 years prior to going to the Insurance Commissioner and DNREC for the last three years. Colleen loved to travel, going to the casino, and motorcycle riding with her husband. She was an avid New York Giants fan! Colleen was the backbone of her family and enjoyed hosting holiday gatherings.
Colleen is survived by her husband of 26 years, Barry Denham of Dover; brothers, John Mascarenas (Deborah) of Mineville, N.Y., Travis Crowe of Greenville, S.C.; sisters, Debra Phinney (Ned) of Mineville, N.Y., Donna Mascarenas of Dover and Michele Crowe – Hall of Salisbury, Md.; brothers in law, Ed Denham (Lynne) of Dover, Kevin Denham of Phoenix, Ariz. and Mike Denham (Sharon) of Dover; sisters in law, Michele Martel (Karl) of Dover and Maureen Debone (Don) of Westfield, Ind., Michelle McCabe (Russ) of Milton, Melissa Hubart of Ellicott City, Md., Debi Paladino (Jim), of Dover; nieces and nephews, Donnie Mascarenas of Hazletville, Nichole Coombes of Dover, Michael Halfacre of Magnolia, Josh Krumm of Magnolia, Ashley Halfacre of Princess Anne, Md., Lindsi Crowe of Altus, Okla., Annie and Matthew Debone both of Westfield, Ind., Sean (Tara), Michael (Jennifer) and David Mascarenas; and 14 great nieces and nephews.
A Celebration of Life will be held 5 p.m., Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 3 to 5 p.m.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to the American Lung Association, 1301 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Suite 800, Washington, DC 20004.
