Cleo Messick

MILFORD - Cleo Messick, 87, of Milford passed away on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Milford Center in Milford. Cleo was born in Onogo, W.Va., the daughter of the late James W. Turner and Rebecca (Somerfield) Turner. She worked at Demco for 30 years retiring in 2000. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Norman Messick in 2001. She is survived by four children, Carlyn Calvanesa of Virginia, William Messick of Maryland, Brenda Messick of Delaware and Keith Messick of Delaware; ten grandchildren; and four great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be 12 p.m., Thursday, March 13, 2014 in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 10 a.m. Interment will be in Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
