MILFORD - Clayton L. Moore passed away on Monday, Aug. 15, 2016 at the Seasons Hospice at Christiana Care Center in Newark. He was born on Feb. 11, 1938 to the late Clarence and Margaret (Bailey) Moore, of Milton. Clayton retired from C&M Office Equipment that was located in Dover and serviced many local businesses. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Milford, for many years. He also maintained the buses and drove Sunday School routes. His hobbies were hunting and fishing. He was a loyal fan of the Baltimore Orioles and the Washington Redskins. He also enjoyed his family. Clayton was always available to help others. He was loved and will be missed by all. In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his son, Tyson Moore. He is survived by his wife, Janice (Collins) Moore, who, together, celebrated 50 years of marriage in November of 2015; daughter, Tanya Moore, of Felton; three grandchildren, Tiffany Middleton, Amanda Moore and Kyle Moore; two great-grandchildren, Kailey Middleton and Ahlias Moore; sister, Jeanette P. Gray, of Milford; several nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, Aug. 20, 2016 at 1 p.m. in the sanctuary of First Baptist Church, 6062 Old Shawnee Rd., Milford, DE 19963. A time of visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. until 1 p.m. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park in Millsboro. Flowers are accepted. Memorials can be sent to First Baptist Church at the address above. Arrangements in the care of Berry-Short Funeral Home, Milford. Lovingly submitted by his family. 'Rest in Peace' Clayton.
