DOVER - Clair Larue Deffley passed away at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford on Monday, Aug. 26, 2013 in the loving presence of his wife of 56 years, Carol Deffley. Larue was born in Altoona, Pa. He proudly served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was a member of the Masonic Lodge located in Towson, Md. He will be deeply missed by his wife and children. A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013 at the Pippin Funeral Home in Wyoming, DE. Following services, a fellowship will be held at the American Legion located on 835 Bay Road, Dover, DE. Burial will take place at a later date in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Altoona, PA.
