REDDEN - Charles Stockley Rust passed away on Apr. 14, 2015 at the Delaware Hospice Center in Milford. Mr. Rust was born in Georgetown to the late Charles A. and Ratie (Donovan) Rust. He had previously worked as a farmer, doing electrical work in his spare time, and doing electrical work for Keller & Tudor before working for I.B.E.W. Local 313. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Rust in 1999; his daughter, Bertha Johnson in 2000; brothers, Fred E. Rust, Norman L. Rust; and sister, Edith E. Insley. He is survived by his daughter, Laura Swartz and her husband, Mike; son,, Allen Rust Sr.; brother, Carlton A. Rust; sister, Gladys K. Wilson; grandchildren, Carrie (Mark) Frasch, Aaron (Jaime) Swartz, Allen (Elizabeth) Rust Jr., Lauren Rust, and Elizabeth Johnson; great-grandchildren, Brianna Maybush, Alison Swartz, and Rachel Rust. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Sat. Apr. 18, 2015 in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 609 E. Market St., Georgetown, DE 19947 where friends may call after 12 noon. Flowers are accepted or donations in Mr. Rusts' memory can be made to: Delaware Hospice Center, 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963.
