DOVER - Charles E. Conaway, of Felton, passed away on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015 at Kent General Hospital in Dover, surrounded by his family. Charles was born in Milton, Del. on Dec. 1, 1945 and was preceded in death by his parents Charles E. Conaway, Sr. and Thelma Conaway and his brother Ronald Hope. He is survived by his wife Myra; son Johnathan Conaway; daughter Mia Conaway-Howell; stepchildren Walter and Ashley Wright; grandchildren; Rickey Howell, Johnathan Singletary, Kaitlyn Conaway, and Brooklyn Wright; sister, Esther Holden; and many loving nieces, nephews, friends, and extended family. Over the years, Charles worked at Baltimore Aircoil Company (BAC) in both Milford, Del. and Jessup, Md., Be&K Engineering Company in Newark, Del., Delaware Department of Transportation (DELDOT) in Newark, Del. where he retired and Polytech Adult Education in Woodside, Del. where he worked as a security guard. Charles loved his hat collection, reading Jack Higgins novels, listening to Smooth Jazz music with Boney James being his favorite artist and talking about and working on cars. He could often be found hanging out with his good friend Jerome (Webby) Webb at his garage in Willow Grove, Del. Charles was a loving father, husband, grandfather, and friend to all. There will be a Funeral service 12:00pm, Saturday, Feb. 21, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden - Wyoming Ave. Wyoming De. 19934.
