Catherine W. Reynolds, 85

DOVER - Catherine W. Reynolds of Dover, formerly of Millington, Md., died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 85.

Mrs. Reynolds was born near Ingleside, Md., daughter of the late Norman "Dick" and Martha (Alexander) Wyatt.

She was a graduate of Millington High School and Salisbury State College. She left college to marry her husband of 48 years, James Vernon Reynolds.

She worked at Leeds Travel Wear, Smyrna, for several years. Later she began driving a school bus for the Bramble family and Kent County public school system. After several years of driving for the Brambles, she became an owner and operator. She drove for many years until her retirement.

Mrs. Reynolds was a lifelong member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Millington.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James Vernon Reynoldsm in 1986; and a sister, Mildred Freeman, in 2005.

She is survived by two daughters and two sons-in-law, Joan Reynolds and Frank Everett and Shirley A. Reynolds and Bruce Waller, all of Dover; two grandchildren and their spouses, James P. and Andrea (Pielert) Popham of Middletown and Jodie Erin and Andy Morris of Felton; four great-grandchildren, Kayla Popham, Emma Popham, Alexandria Popham and Mason Morris; two sisters, Louise Wallace and Jean Freeman, both of Millington.

Graveside services will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Asbury Cemetery, Millington.

Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the American Heart Association-Kent County, Delaware, Memorial Fulfillment Center, 777 Penn Center Blvd., Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15235; or American Diabetes Association, 100 West 10th St., Suite 1002, Wilmington, DE 19801.
