DOVER - Catherine Dunn passed away Saturday, Feb. 18, 2017.
Mrs. Dunn was born June 30, 1935, in Wilmington.
She worked at Leed's Travelware in Clayton for many years. Mrs. Dunn was a self-taught artist, especially with ceramics, she also enjoyed crafts and volunteering at soup kitchens and a member for the Nags Head Volunteer Fire Company.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Freddie Dunn, Sr., in 1991.
She is survived by her children, Freddie 'Bo' Dunn, Jr. (Liz), of Dover, who cared for her, William Dunn (Donna), of Illinois, Charles Dunn (Carol), of North Carolina, Maryann Dunn (Dane), of Virginia and Cheri Schwander (Jim), of Wilmington; sister, Barbara Garlic (Carl), of Kenton; grandchildren, Holly, Chris, Chad, Carson, Shannon, Billy, Kaleigh and Sally; and five great-grandchildren.
