Carol L. Briscoe, 47 DOVER - Carol L. Briscoe, age 47, passed away April 24, 2010. He was born on Nov. 22, 1962. He preceded in death by father, Carl L. Briscoe Sr. He was a graduate of Smyrna High School. He was avid fisherman, loved to dance and tell jokes. For a short time he was a member of the National Guards. He made his living in construction. He is survived by his mother Annie Hicks of Dover; his daughter and son-in-law Shanta and Donshay Clark of Elkton, Md.; two brothers, Troy Briscoe, his wife Victoria of Denton, Md., and James Briscoe and special friend Julie Brown of Canterbury; three sisters, Rochelle Brinkley of Dover, Darlene Baiely and husband larry of Harrington, and Latany Pratt and husband Bernard of Dover; stepfather who raised him, Ernest Hicks of Smyrna; two grandchildren, host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Memorial Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, April 28, 2010, at Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
