She was born Nov. 8, 1946, in Wilmington, and was preceded in death by her mother and father, Betty Ruane and John Quinn, and her grandson, Seth.
Mrs. Johnson was a very family oriented woman who enjoyed cooking, reading and playing the slots.
Mrs. Johnson was also a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Veterans of Foreign Wars 5447 in Holly Oak and the AMVETS Post 2, Millsboro.
She is survived by her husband of 36 years, Harry D. Johnson; her daughters, Julie Jacobs and her husband Jay of Newark, Christine Fox of Millsboro, and Debbie Johnson of Millsboro; a son, Harry D. A memorial service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 32013 Long Neck Road, Millsboro.
