Dover - Carol Ann Thompson passed away peacefully, Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2018, in Compassionate Care Hospice at St. Francis Hospital. Carol Ann was born Feb. 13, 1945, in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late, Jack and Genevieve (Haynes) Thompson. In her younger years she worked long and hard; then in her later years she enjoyed spending time with her family and close friends. She enjoyed feeding the squirrels, and relaxing under the gazebo.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Shawn.
Carol Ann is survived by three siblings, Wanda, of Delaware, Jackie, of Ohio and Kenny, of Georgia; her beloved niece and "adopted Daughter" Tonya; her little angels, nieces and nephew; and her special angels great-nieces and nephew; and her grandchildren, Samantha and Matthew.
Services will be Private.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to St. Jude Childrens Research Hospital Memorial Program, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
