SALISBURY - Bonnie Ree Feeney passed away on Monday, February 15, 2021 at the home of her nephew and caregiver, Randy Wood in Felton, Del. Born in Marydel, Md., she was the daughter of the late John Wood and Ila Combs Wood.
She was a graduate of Greensboro High School and Salisbury State Teachers College. She worked for the Wicomico County Board of Education and retired in 1986 from the Fruitland Elementary School. She then worked for Montgomery Wards and Boscov's in Salisbury. Bonnie was a member of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary, American Legion, and the Moose Lodge. She thoroughly enjoyed reading and socializing with her family and friends.
Bonnie is survived by several nieces and nephews, including Charles "Randy" Randolph Wood of Felton, Del.; two sisters, Della Wood Lynch of Ridgely, Md. and JoAnn Hickman (F. Clayton) of Greensboro, Md.; and sister-in-law, Joan R. Wood of Felton, Del.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by husband, Douglas Lee Feeney in 2012; a sister, Anna Mills; and a brother, Charles Wood.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22, 2021 at 2 p.m. at the Holloway Funeral Home in Salisbury with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Parsons Cemetery in Salisbury. Officiating will be Rev. Dr. Edward C. P. Feeney. Services will be live streamed for the convenience of those that cannot attend.
