DOVER, Del. - Bobby R. Simpson went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Bobby was born May 20, 1937 in Higdon, Mo., the son of John & Ada Simpson.
Bobby served in the Air Force for four years and retired from General Foods after working for over 25 years as a mechanic. In his free time he enjoyed going to the gym and traveling many places in the United States. Bobby & his wife attended New Harvest Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his parents; and his brother, the late John Simpson & his wife Jean.
He is survived by his best friend and wife of over 59 years, Judith; his two children, Brenda and Joe (Gloria) Simpson; grandchildren, Brandon (Kelsey), Kara (Bryan), Garrett, Marcus, Rachel (Cody) & Sarah (fiancé Eric); great grandchildren, Joshua, Savannah, Maddi, Penny & Sophia; extended family and friends.
Funeral Service will be held at Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming, Del. on Thursday, February 24, 2022, at 12 p.m.; where friends may call beginning at 11 a.m. Interment with military honors to follow at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden, Del.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Bayada Hospice, 4250 Lancaster Pike Suite 308, Wilmington, DE 19805 for the excellent care he received.
