Beverly T. West

MILLSBORO - Mrs. Beverly T. West, of Millsboro, passed away on Tuesday, Jan. 10, 2012, after a long illness. She was 58. Beverly was born on Oct. 13, 1953, in Lewes, to the late Willie E. and Agnes M. Bass Goff. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by four sisters, Carol Ann Malcom, Frances Crabb, Faye Powell and Kathy Lecates. She was the office manager for Zonko Builders of Selbyville, for the last 11 years. She was a member of the American Legion Post 24 Dagsboro Ladies Auxiliary and the also the Treasurer. She loved to travel, sing and also do karaoke. She was devoted to her family and will be dearly missed. She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Jacob H. West III of Millsboro; a son, Jacob H. West IV of Millsboro; a daughter, Kelly Ann Smith and her husband Ken, Jr. of Millsboro; a sister, Cheryl Ellwanger of Millsboro; brothers, Willie E. Goff Jr. and his wife Sandy of Greenwood and John K. Goff of Millsboro; four grandchildren, Jacob, V, Lindsey, J.J. and Zachary. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family. A funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, Jan. 18, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Pastor Mark Erskine will officiate. Burial will be follow at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro.
