Betty Jane Szelc, 47
DOVER - Betty Jane Szelc of Dover died Monday, April 16, 2007, in Bayhealth Medical Center, Dover. She was 47.
Born in Mount Holly, N.J., Betty was the daughter of James R. and Betty J. (Gauntt) Berry of Hainesport, N.J.
She lived in South Jersey for most of her life, and moved from Cape May, N.J., to Harrington in 2004, and then to Dover in 2005.
Betty worked at International Latex Corp., Frederica, until her illness.
She was a member of the Jehovah's Witnesses and a participant in the Wellness Community of Dover and People's Place.
In her quieter moments, Betty enjoyed the ocean and had a special fondness for dolphins and horses. She will be sadly missed by those who knew and cared for her.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her significant other, Richard A. Danetz of Dover; a sister, Margaret Budden of Hainesport; and her niece, Carrie Ann Budden, and nephew, David M. Budden, both of Hainesport.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family.
