CHESTERTOWN, Md. - Belle Middleton, 83, of Chestertown, died Feb. 12, 2012, in Chester River Hospital surrounded by her loving family. Belle was born on March 9, 1928, daughter of the late Noble H. and Ethel Louise Perry Middleton. She was a lifetime resident of Kent County where she had worked for the Defense Plant and for Bud Hubbard's as a waitress~barmaid. Belle was a Life member of the Rock Hall American Legion Post 228, Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, sewing, reading and was an avid Orioles Fan. Belle was preceded in death by her brother, Walton Middleton; and a great-granddaughter, Ashley Blackiston. She is survived by her three children, Anna Conner and her husband Gene of Falling Waters, W.Va., Charles Blackiston of Chestertown, and Clyde Conley of Salisbury; three sisters, Rosalee Brice of Chestertown, and Opal Jacob of Worton, and Dorothy White of Still Pond; five grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 15, in St. Paul's Cemetery, Sandy Bottom Rd, Chestertown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be offered to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
