CLAYTON - Barbara S. Byler, passed away Tuesday, March 24, 2009, in her home. She was 79. She was born June 17, 1929 in Dover, daughter of the late Simon W. and Sarah G. (Bender) Byler. Barbara was married to Joseph G. Byler on Dec. 16, 1948. She is preceded in death by her parents, step-mother, a grandchild, a sister and two brothers. She is survived by her husband of 60 years, 3 months, 8 days, six daughters and three sons, three sisters and two brothers, 58 grandchildren, 64 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and friends. Alma (John) Hershberger, of Crab Orchard, Ky., Mary (Lee Roy) S\Hershberger. of Andover, Ohio, Sarah (Eli) Byler, of Richfield Springs, N.Y., Joseph Jr. (Esther Coblentz) Byler. of Albion, Mich., Sylvia (Truman) Hershberger, of Guys Mills, Pa., Emma (Adam) Miller, of Hartly, Barbara Byler, of Clayton of the home, Daniel (Barbara Ann Yoder) Byler, of Clayton, and Andy (Barbara Ann Miller) Byler, of Clayton. Friends may call between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday. Services will start at 9:00 a.m. Friday at Daniel R. Byler's residence, 2156 Dinah's Corner Road, Dover. Burial will follow in the Amish Cemetery. Arrangements are by Pippin Funeral Home, Wyoming.
