Barbara J. Vivier

HARRINGTON - Barbara J. Vivier passed away peacefully, on March 3, 2018, at her niece's home in Southwick, Mass,; surrounded by her family. Born in Greenfield, Mass. on June 20, 1951, she was the daughter of the late Bartholomew and Alice (Henry) Vivier.
Barbara grew up in Turners Falls, Mass. and graduated from Turners Falls High School. She worked at the former Belchertown State School, Belchertown, Mass. She lived in Harrington for the past 28 years and worked as a Paratransit Driver for DART (Delaware Authority of Regional Transit) for 25 years. She moved to Southwick, Mass. in her final months to be close to family.
She leaves her nieces, Melissa Bridges, of Southwick, Mass., Wendy and her husband Phil Stanton and Tammy Vivier of Florida. She also leaves nine great-nieces and nephews.
The family would like to extend a heart-filled thank you to Baystate Hospice for their kind and compassionate care.
A Graveside Service will take place on Saturday, July 7, 2018 at 10 a.m., at St. Anne's Cemetery, Turners Falls, Mass. Southwick Forastiere Family Funeral Home, 624 College Highway, Southwick, Mass. has care of arrangements. Donations may be made to Best Friends at https://bestfriends.org.
