SMYRNA - Barbara J. Gerlock (Bobbie), age 72, of Smyrna, passed away Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at Parkview Manor in Wilmington. She was born October 21, 1943 to Casey and Ethel Williams of Paulsboro, N.J. She married her high school sweetheart, Morris (Larry) Gerlock on November 12, 1960. Together they had two children and raised their children in Woodstown, N.J., where they built a home. She recently lived in Smyrna. Barbara was known for her gourmet cooking and loved to spend time with her family. She was an avid reader who always had a book by her side. She was a loving and kind person who will be truly missed by her family. She is survived by her husband, Larry; her daughter, Dawn (Roger); son, Peter (Kathy); sisters, Susan Jackson (Bob) and Peg Tame. The lights of her life were her grandchildren, Ashley (Caleb), Joshua, Ashley (Keith), AJ (Christine), Sean, Christopher and Andrew. She is also survived by four great grandchildren, Aurora, Max, Avery and Dominic. The family will greet friends starting at 11:30 a.m. with a brief memorial service starting at 12 p.m. with food to follow on Saturday, December 19, 2015 at Faith Life Ministries, 418 Rosedale Lane in Dover.
