CLAYTON - Barbara E. Brown, "Lucky Lady" passed away surrounded by her family at home on Tues., Apr. 14, 2015. Mrs. Brown was born Jun. 15, 1947 in Dover, the daughter of the late John and Mary Walton. She was a homemaker who enjoyed watching and feeding hummingbirds, going to the slots where she was very lucky, watching TV and spending time with her family and friends. Barbara was a member of the Retreads and enjoyed riding her motorcycle with her late husband. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Raymond "Brownie". She is survived by her son, Raymond F. Brown, Jr. and his wife, Michelle of Clayton; her daughter, Victoria A. Napolitano and her husband, Stephen of Smyrna; granddaughter, Amber Attix and her husband, Kevin of Clayton; and her grandson, Curtis B. Napolitano of Smyrna; her brothers, John Walton and his wife, Audrey of Clayton and Eddie Walton and his wife, Arlene of Clayton; and numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Friday, April 17, 2015 and again at 10 am on Saturday, April 18, 2015 in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 am on Saturday. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Townsend. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the nurses and staff of Delaware Hospice, especially Ashley and Susan, who provided exceptional care of Barbara, as well as Arlene, Lynn and Carolyn, who were her personal care givers.
