DOVER - Barbara Davis passed away Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2018 at the University of Penn Hospital after a long illness. She was born April 30, 1949 in Jersey City, N.J.
Barbara enjoyed crocheting, baking, traveling and watching the "soaps." She had a special dedication to her children, grandchildren and foster children. She worked during her life at Playtex and Dawson's Bus Service.
She is survived by her long-time companion, Ken; her children, Duane Davis (Jennifer), Michele Davis (Bruce Gordon), Steve Davis, Dawn Johnson (Joseph), Edwina Sherman, Crystal Snyder (Timmy) and Valerie Fansler and other foster's she cared for; Ken's family, Rlet Webber and family and Ken Jr. and family; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; her sisters, Eileen (Ken) Adriance, Gail Wilson (the late Jim) and Marion Slaughter; extended family and friends. Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald; and grandson, Shawn Berger.
Funeral service will be Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, at 3 p.m. in Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Friends may call beginning at 1 p.m. Interment service will be 10 a.m., Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
