DOVER - B. Nolan Cooper, Jr., of Dover, passed away May 18, 2015. Nolan was born November 8, 1927 to B. Nolan Cooper and Mabel Green Cooper. He was 87. Nolan was a past President of the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company. He was a Camden-Wyoming Little League Coach of the Fire Company team, and retired from the Caesar Rodney School District after 42 years of service. He was an avid bowler and loved fishing. He served in the US Army in Korea and was a member of the Camden-Wyoming Moose. He was a CR alumni and played on the CR baseball and football teams. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Tribbitt Cooper in 2000. Also, he was preceded by his daughter, Karen Cooper-Buffkin; and two siblings, Thomas I. Cooper and Elizabeth Banks. Nolan is survived by his five children, Debbie Cooper of Dover, Cheryl Precourt and her husband Bill of Dover, Patrick N. Cooper of Bronx, N.Y., Clay Cooper of Dover, Lisa Warren and her husband Raymond of Felton; two brothers, John Cooper of Lewes, and Lloyd Cooper of Saint George, Utah; grandsons, Tommy Dunlop and his wife Maria, Zachary Warren and his wife Brooke; granddaughters, Carol Prairie and her husband Todd, Danielle Precourt Jones and her husband Matt, Jami Rizzutto and her husband Anthony, Stephanie Cooper, Amanda Warren, Abi Precourt, Sarah LeMarble and her husband Bobby, and Lindsay Cooper; ten great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be Sunday, May 24, 2015 at 3 p.m., at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 East Lebanon Rd., Dover, where friends may call from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The family suggests contributions to the Camden-Wyoming Fire Company, 200 E.
