SMYRNA - Audrey W. Green of Smyrna, , died Thursday May 24, 2007, in Broadmeadow Nursing Home, Middletown. She was 84.
Mrs. Green was born March 6, 1923, in Sudlersville, Md., daughter of the late George L. and Mary Burris Wooleyhand.
She worked as a secretary and retired from Wilson Tyler Refrigeration Co. in Smyrna after 35 years of service. She also owned and operated Artcraft Trophy in Dover for several years.
She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends.
Mrs. Green was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Smyrna and the John Bassett Moore High School Alumni Association.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Howard A. Green in 1985.
She is survived by her sister, Jeannette W. Graham of Smyrna; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Faries Funeral Chapel, 29 S. Main St., Smyrna.
Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Smyrna.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Asbury United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 330, Smyrna, DE 19977.
