DOVER - Arnetta Cooper passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015 in her home surrounded by her loving family. She was 96. She was born in Flemington, Pa., on May 21, 1919 to James U. Weaver and Mary Sheasley Weaver. She married John J. Cooper on April 1952. (Died Jan., 1998). They moved to Rodney Village in the mid-50s where Arnetta sold Avon products thru much of the 60s. She worked as a receptionist for Del State Mental health facility in Dover in the early 70s. She was active for many years at Wyoming Methodist Church. She is remembered by all as kind, intuitive and always went out of her way to help others. She was an avid bicyclist and swimmer. She is survived by a son, John L. Cooper (Woodstock, N.Y.); a daughter, Cynthia A. Ahlborn (Johnstown, Pa.); grandson, Christopher D. Foster (Rodney Village), his wife Megan E. Foster, their children, Noah R. Foster and Abigail E. Foster; grandson, John Ahlborn (Johnstown, Pa.), John's daughters Dakota and Taylor, granddaughter Misty Wilson (Homer City, Pa.), her husband Matt and their children Savanna, Zachary and Andrew. Visitation will be 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, September 8, 2015 at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Graveside service will be 1 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Rosecrans, Pa. Arnetta will always be remembered for the unending love she gave to others.
