Anthony Louis Harper, 49

DOVER - Anthony Louis Harper, was called home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, May 6, 2009, in his home. He was 49. Born on April 18, 1960, he was the son of Elsie Crenshaw and Louis Harper. He is survived by his mother, Elsie Crenshaw of Dover; three daughters, Charmaine Harper of South Carolina, Parris Harper of Atlanta, Ga., and Mia Harper of Dover; grandfather, Walter L. Smalls of Brooklyn, N.Y.; a faithful companion, Argenette Harper of New Castle; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Funeral services are 11 a.m. Monday, May 11, 2009 at the Bennie Smith Funeral Home, 717 W. Division St., Dover, where friends may pay their respect to the family one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Delaware Memorial Veteran's Cemetery, Bear. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook may be signed at www.benniesmithfuneralhome.com. Arrangements are being handled by Bennie Smith Funeral Home, Dover.
