GREENWOOD - Anthony Depta passed away on Wednesday, Aug. 31, 2016. Anthony was a farmer in Dover for many years before retirement. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Seaford. He loved farming the land, watching sports, especially baseball and football; and being with his family. His wife, Christine Huston Depta, died in 2014. He is survived by three sons, Anthony Depta, Jr. (Carolyn), Frank Depta (Debbie) and Mark; three daughters, Barbara Edwards (Ron), Donna Elford (Dale) and Christine Stamper (J. D.); two sisters, Catherine and Frances; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, Sept. 6, 2016, at 11 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Church, 532 Stein Hwy, Seaford. Friends may call at the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford, on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. Burial will be in Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
