Annie E. Travis, 91 FELTON - Annie E. Travis, 91, of Felton, passed away peacefully at her residence on Thursday, Feb. 4, 2010, with her loving family by her side. Born on Feb. 20, 1918, in Millington, Md., she was the daughter of the late Samuel E. and May Olivia (Fisher) Lloyd. She retired from Playtex after 34 years of dedicated service. Annie loved going to yard sales, eating out and especially enjoyed family gatherings. When her health permitted, she enjoyed traveling, especially to Florida. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her life long companion, Richard D. Moore; a daughter, Betty Hammond; a son-in-law, Robert Creed; three sisters, and a brother. She leaves many wonderful memories to her two daughters, Patricia A. Halsey and her husband, John, of Camden and Virginia Creed of Lincoln; a special granddaughter who she considered a daughter, Sharon Creed; a son-in-law, Billy Hammond; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be noon, Saturday, Feb. 13, at Daniels & Hutchison Funeral Home LLC, 212 N. Broad Street, Middletown, where family and friends may visit one hour prior.
