Anna Rae Lombr

CAMDEN - Anna Rae Lombr passed away Wednesday Jan. 8, 2014 at her home, surrounded by her family. Mrs. Lombr was born July 28, 1929 in Baltimore, Md. to the late Jerome B. McGovern and Mary Irene Moody McGovern. She worked as a retail manager at various stores in Baltimore. She and her husband were members of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Dover. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Ralph Lombr, in Feb. of 2013. She is survived by her son, David Lombr and his wife, Susan of Brooklyn, Md.; daughter, Vicki D'Ambrosi and her husband, Giacomo of Dover; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren; and her brother, Walter McGovern of Brooklyn, Md. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held 10 a.m., Monday, Jan. 13, 2014 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 631 S. State Street, Dover. Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 12, 2014 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com .
