MILFORD - Anna C. Tribbitt, 90, of Milford died Wednesday, Aug. 4, 2010, at Greenwood Country Rest Home, Greenwood. She was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Thomson and Ernestine Dolan Thomson; her husband, Francis M. Tribbitt; and a sister, Edith Grodkiewicz. Mrs. Tribbitt worked at L.D. Caulk in packaging for 15 years, retiring in 1988. She is survived by her daughter, Ernestine "Ernie" F. Moore of Lincoln; one son, Francis "Tuffy" Tribbitt and his wife Nancy of Lewes; a brother-in-law, Leon Grodkiewicz of Frederica; four grandchildren, Herschel and Kevin Moore, Valorie and Rob Heinz, and Jeff and Stephanie Tribbitt; nine great-grandchildren, Chris and Derrick Moore, Evan Moore-Browning, Sydney, Morgan, Jack, and Toby, Tribbitt and Alex and Becky Heinz. Services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 7, 2010, in the Chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front Street, where friends may call from noon to 1 p.m. Interment will be Barratts Chapel Cemetery, Frederica. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Alzheimer's Assoc., P.O. Box 625, Georgetown, DE 19947. The family would like to thank both the Evergreen Alzheimer's Center and the Country Rest Home for the compassionate care and the love shown and for making her last years the best they could be.
