Ann S. Mazurak, 76

SEAFORD - Ann S. Mazurak, of Seaford, passed away peacefully Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, in her home surrounded by members of her family. She was 76. Mrs. Mazurak was born on June 27, 1932, in White Plains, N.Y., daughter of the late Edward F. and Anna (McCaffrey) Hayde. She graduated from White Plains High School in 1951. Ann and her husband, William, began their family in Bedford, N.Y., where she was a devoted mother and homemaker. After many years, they moved to Seaford to own and operate a poultry farm. She was loved by her family and many friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William R. Mazurak in 2007. She is survived by two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Julia Mazurak of Bedford, N.Y., and Peter and Tena Mazurak of Robesonia, Pa.; a daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Robert Urban of Oviedo, Fla.; a brother, Edward F. Hayde of Mt. Kisco, N.Y.; and five grandchildren; Emily, Elise, Rachel, Wendy and Brad. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday at the Oelker-Cox & Sinatra Funeral Home, 262 E. Main Street, Mt Kisco, N.Y.. Mass of Christian burial will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday at St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Church in Bedford, N.Y. Burial will be held in St. Francis Cemetery, Mt. Kisco, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested memorial contributions to Vitas Innovative Hospice Care, 802 N. DuPont Hwy, Milford, DE, 19963.
