SEAFORD - Alnea L. Weisbrod "Alma" passed away peacefully at the Manor House on June 4, 2018. Alma was born Oct.1, 1922 in Jersey City, N.J., the daughter of George and Wilhemina Berkoben.
She married her late husband Clifford Weisbrod on June 14, 1945, they were married for 58 years. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by her granddaughter, Courtney Snedecor; a brother, Ewald Berkoben; and a sister, Edith Rizzo.
She is survived by her son, George Weisbrod of Alpine, Ala.; a daughter and son in law, Edith and George "Tim" Snedecor of Laurel; grandsons, Mark Snedecor of Ft. Worth, Texas, Matthew Snedecor of Ringwood, N.J.; and her god son, Russ Berkoben; as well as several other nephews and nieces.
A memorial service will be held Friday, June 15, 2018 in the Manor House Fellowship Hall at 2:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers the family requests that you consider making a donation in Alma's name payable to "ACTS Legacy Foundation @ Manor House", 1001 Middleford Road, Seaford, DE 19973.
