DOVER - Alicia (Santiago) Rivera of Dover passed away Saturday, Dec. 16, 2006, in her daughter"s home in Dover. She was 77.
Mrs. Rivera was born Jan. 10, 1929, in Camden, N.J., daughter of the late Francisco and Dolores (Negron) Santiago.
She was a homemaker, mother and proud grandmother, as well as a good friend and neighbor.
She enjoyed outings, cultural events, dancing and attending various live performances.
Mrs. Rivera was an active member of Holy Cross Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Antonio Rivera.
She is survived by two daughters, Alicia D. Rivera of Liepsic and Amy Rivera of Virginia; three grandchildren, Marselina, Emilia and Conwell; and two brothers, Frank Santiago of New York and Richard Santiago of New York.
Mass of Christian burial will be 11 a.m. Thursday in Holy Cross Catholic Church, Dover.
Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Trader Funeral Home, Dover.
Burial will be in Lake Side Cemetery, Dover.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 S. DuPont Highway, Dover.
