DOVER - Alicia Kleczkowski-Arnold passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2021.
She was born August 13, 1948, in Rockville, Connecticut to the late Albin Kleczkowski and Laura Kleczkowski. She graduated from Rockville High School in 1966, just two years later in 1968, she married the love of her life and husband of 53 years, Richard Arnold of Southwick, Mass.
Mrs. Arnold enjoyed the busy life of a businesswoman; she had a special spot in heart for the Cosmetology Industry specifically. While living in Connecticut, she owned and managed her own beauty salon. She then went on to teach Cosmetology Classes as well as selling Mary Kay products on the side. Mrs. Arnold enjoyed lending a helping hand as a home nursing aid and was an active member of the Red Hat Ladies.
In addition to her parents; Mrs. Arnold was preceded in death by her sisters, Cynthia Kleczkowski and Valerie Kleczkowski.
Mrs. Arnold is survived by her loving husband, Richard Arnold of Dover; sons, Christopher Arnold and wife Stephanie of Tampa, Fla., Todd Arnold and wife Kendra of Madison, Conn.; sister, Paula Stewart of Tallapoosa, Ga.; grandchildren, Matilda, Lyla, Chase, and Jack.
Services will be held 1 p.m., Saturday, September 4, 2021, at Torbert Funeral Chapel [Downtown], 61 S. Bradford Street, Dover, DE 19901. Friends may visit one hour prior.
