COREA, ME - Alice "Amy" M. Haugh died unexpectedly at home on May 18, 2023. Amy was born September 22, 1960 in Harrisburg, PA to her loving parents, Francis C. and Romayne F. Witkoski.
Amy graduated from Camp Hill High School, class of 1978. She went on to nursing school at Wesley College and spent her career caring for patients at Kent General Hospital. At Wesley she met the love of her life, Skip Haugh. They would go on to have four children and spend more than 40 wonderful years together.
Amy was predeceased by her parents; and her brother, David Witkoski.
She is survived by her husband, Richard "Skip" M. Haugh, Jr.; her children, Kelly Black and Megan, Mary and Timothy Haugh; her siblings, F. Michael Witkoski, William Witkoski, and Susan Hardy Klein; many nieces and nephews; and her beloved dogs, Ellen and Violet.
She loved the beach, animals of every kind, Ticonderoga No. 2 pencils, Elton John, gardening, cheeseburgers, The Weather Channel, midnight snacks, antique stores, and the summers when corn grew in the field behind her house. She was an enthusiastic competitor her whole life, excelling in track and field hockey in her youth before moving on to bowling, skee ball, push-up contests and tennis. Above all else, she was a dedicated mother who loved nothing more in the world than her children. She is dearly missed by each of us.
