Alice G. Glanden, 86 FREDERICA - Alice G. Glanden, 86, of Frederica, passed away Monday, Dec. 28, 2009, at Kent General Hospital. She was born on Oct. 9, 1923, in Reading, Pa., daughter of the late Richard and Mary (Whitelock) Rollison. Alice had worked for Playtex for 39 years. She enjoyed gardening, playing the slot machines at Harrington, and collecting angels. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Glanden; and son, Arthur Wayne Glanden. She is survived by four children, Lois "Carolyn" Foraker and her husband Charles of Frederica, Sherry Ann Turner and her husband Richard of Frederica, Leonard Neal Glanden of Harrington, Bruce "Randy" Glanden and his wife Linda of Frederica; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 30, at the Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming. Services will be 11 a.m., Thursday, Dec. 31, at the Funeral Home.
