Albert Paul Windon

FELTON - Albert Paul Windon passed away Tues., Nov. 10, 2015 at home. Mr. Windon was born Sep. 7, 1936 in Renick, W. Va. to the late Lacy Windon and Tona Malnor Windon. He served in the United States Army during the Korean War. Mr. Windon was a barber for various Army bases. He was a self-employed barber in Felton. Mr. Windon was a member of the Harrington VFW and DAV as well as a member of the Harrington American Legion for 50 years. He was also a member of the Trotters Association. Mr. Windon enjoyed horse racing and owned his own race horse. Mr. Windon loved holiday parties and dinners with his family. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his daughter, Deborah A. Windon; siblings, Frank J. Windon, and Douglas Windon. He is survived by his daughters, Michelle L. Emmick, Holly A. Windon, and Jan Warren all of Ill.; sisters, Mary Pavlosky of Goldsboro, MD, Josephine Pavolosky of Harrington, DE, Barbara Miller of Dover, DE, Theresa Tanner of Ft. Myers, FL and Nina Jean of Sarasota, FL; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; his lifelong companion. Beverly Windon; and special grandson, Michael Rios and his wife Emek; and special niece, Patricia Whitt-Muncey and caregiver, Sandra Spence. Funeral services will be held 1PM, Sat., Nov. 14, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel, 61 S. Bradford St., Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon Hills Memorial Park, Dover.
