BEAR - Alan A. Burns, of Bear, passed away on July 13, 2011, at Christiana Hospital. He was 54. He was preceded in death by his parents, Mary V. and Thomas D. Burns Sr. He is survived by his brothers, Thomas D. Burns Jr. of Wilmington, and Roger E. Burns of Harrington; sister, Mary Ann Bowers of Warner Robins, Ga. Services will be 2 p.m., Wednesday, July 20, 2011, at Gracelawn Memorial Park Chapel, New Castle, where a visitation will be one hour prior. Interment will be in Gracelawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
