Aaron Adam Reeves

MILTON - Aaron Adam Reeves, III, Chief Petty Officer, Navy and Marine, retired 20 year veteran, passed away on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016. He was born to Aaron A. Reeves, Jr., and Marguerite (Weigle) Reeves in Philadelphia, Pa. on Jan. 4, 1931. In addition to his parents, Aaron is preceded in death by his older brother, Dr. Francis Reeves; his daughter, Karen Reeves; and his grandson, Chad Christopher Long. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Nancy Margaret (Hagan) Reeves; his daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Christopher Long; his grandchildren, Stephanie D. Long, and Brandon Bailey/Reeves; and his former wife, Lynn Warrington. A funeral mass will be held at 11:00a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 28, 2016 at St. Jude the Apostle Catholic Church, 152 Tulip Drive, Lewes, Del 19958. A visitation will be held Tuesday evening from 6 – 8pm in the chapel of Short Funeral Services, 416 Federal Street, Milton, Del 19968. Burial will be at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. In lieu of flowers a donation in Aaron's memory can be made to Renaissance Healthcare, 26002 John J. Williams Highway, Millsboro, Del 19966 for updates in therapy equipment and in appreciation for the excellent care the staff blessed him with.
