HARTLY - Wilma Ann Diaz passed away, Friday, March 10, 2023, at home.
Wilma was born February 22, 1956, in Dover, Delaware to the late Walter Albin Darrell and Nancy Heneriett Jewell.
Wilma was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandchildren, especially baking and doing crafts with them. She loved decorating for the holidays. She had an impressive collection of Native American keepsakes and Elvis memorabilia.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Juan Diaz. She is survived by her children, Carey Lynn of CA, Lori Ridgeway, Angela Stevens, Juan Diaz Jr., Allen Diaz and his wife Krystle all of Dover; grandchildren, Brian, Shaun and Lauren Ridgeway, Berry Jr. and Emma Stevens, Robert, Abigail and Veda Diaz; brother, Walter Darrell and his wife Selena of Camden; sisters, Wanda Thompson of Dover and Johnanna Barnes and her husband Bennie of Charleston, WV; as well as several beloved nieces and nephews and extended family.
Funeral services will be held 11AM, Saturday, March 18, 2023 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Rd. (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Sharon hills memorial park.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions be made to Heritage Baptist Church, P.O. Box 452 Camden, DE 19934
