MAGNOLIA - William M. Yerkie III, of Magnolia, passed away Monday, Feb. 25, 2008. He was 20.

He was born on Feb. 26, 1987, in Dover, to William and Connie Lynn Satterfield Yerkie Jr.

William attended Caesar Rodney High School and was in the R.O.T.C. program.

He was a seasonal worker at Dover International Speedway in the souvenir warehouse.

William had a deep love for Pickering Beach, Delaware Bay, and his boats "Eclipse" and Second Chance" and his truck "Cold Army," and his faithful dog Sonny.

He had a deep respect for the Delaware Volunteer Fire Service through his grandfather with the Magnolia Volunteer Fire Co.

He was preceded in death by his father, William M. Yerkie Jr.; a sister, Karen Connelly; and aunt, Tracy Satterfield Hobbs.

He is survived by his mother, Connie Lynn Satterfield Manbeck of Magnolia; grandparents, Ralph and Edith Satterfield of Magnolia; brother, Dale Connelly of Magnolia; an aunt, Sharon Satterfield of Magnolia; dear cousins, Tina Yearsley, Terri Tucker; a girlfriend, Kaela Ehret; an uncle, James Yerkie; aunts, Tarei Yerkie, Cheryl Olbrich; great-aunts, Doris Thompson, and Laura Winklec; and many more cousins and friends.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.

The family request that memorial contributions and condolences be given to Ralph Satterfield, P.O. Box 454, Little Creek DE 19961.
