William D. Webb, 58 DOVER - William D. Webb, died Friday, March 12, 2010, in Bay Health Medical Center, Dover. He was 58. Born in Chicopee, Mass., he was the son of the late Alexander P. Webb and Shirley Ann Walker Webb of Clayton. He had served in the U.S. Navy for 10 years and had worked as a carpenter until illness over took him for the past two years. He had been a member of the Worship Christian Center and was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. Bill enjoyed reading, card playing and woodworking, and had been a faithful Baltimore Orioles fan. He will be greatly missed by those who knew and loved him. Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his brother, Douglas Edward Webb in 2000. Bill leaves his wife, Teresa Ellingsworth Webb of Dover; five children, Cary Ann Webb of Magnolia, Alexander Webb of Dover, Erica L. Franz of Dover, Jeremy M. Price of Cheswold, and Andrew T. Price of Dover; his sister, Sherry Lynn Meggison of Clayton; brother, Chuck Porter Webb of Walla Walla, Wash.; and seven grandchildren. Friends may call starting at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso, 1175 S. State St., Dover, where services will be 11 a.m. Burial will be 1 p.m. at the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Condolences may be forwarded and Guest Book signed via www.ambruso.com.
