William Binder

Dover - William "Butch" Binder passed away Saturday, Aug. 18, 2018, in Kent General Hospital, Dover.
Butch was born Feb. 20, 1942, in Philadelphia, Pa., to the late, George and Dorothy (Boyer) Binder. He had worked for over 30 years, as a Maintenance Manager for several office buildings in Center City, Philadelphia, before retiring.
In his free time, Butch enjoyed hunting, fishing, and watching his beloved Philadelphia Eagles Football.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Harry Binder.
Butch is survived by his wife of 56 years, Mary Ann (Allen) Binder; his son, William G. Binder, Jr., of Dover; two grandchildren, Remy and Billy Binder; his sisters-in-law, Carol Binder, Judy Bojko and Georgine Hoffman, all of Philadelphia, and Shirley Allen, of Doylestown, Pa.; and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service will be held at 12 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 25, 2018, in Pippin Funeral Home, Inc., 119 West Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming; where family and friends may gather from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. The family requests those attending to wear casual attire.
