William Benjamin Stansbury, 59

RIDGELY, Md. - William Benjamin Stansbury, of Ridgely, departed this life on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007. He was 59.

William, known to friends as "G-Song," was born July 30, 1948, to the late Marion Stansbury and Clara Stansbury.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Hynson and Marion Shelton Stansbury.

William leaves to cherish his memory a devoted wife of 35 years, Reba "Tiller" Stansbury; two daughters, Sharna Stansbury and Sharone Stansbury; four grandchildren, Antione, Lanasia, Terrance, and David; three brothers, Foster and his wife Brenda, Carl and his wife Margaret, and Calvin and his wife Carol; three adopted daughters, Dawn Massey, Brandy Rosebrock and Amber Rosebrock; one goddaughter, Danielle Kilson; special friends, Wayne, Ricky and "Butchie"; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Community Baptist Church, Barclay, where friends may call one hour prior, and from 7-9 p.m. Thursday.

Burial will be in the Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Hurlock.
