Zimmerman, 53 WYOMING - Wayne Richard Zimmerman passed away on Nov. 27, 2012 at Delmar Nursing and Rehab Center. He was born on April 7, 1959 in Dover, Del. to John and the late Jane Zimmerman. Wayne lived in Orlando, Fla. for 17 years where he worked as a maintenance manager at a duplex community. There he made many friends of many nationalities and could communicate in Spanish, Chinese and Arabic. Everyone in the neighborhood was sad to see him leave. He had a passion for animals of all kinds, especially wildlife and dogs. He never visited family or friends without a treat for the family pet. He leaves behind his beloved guinea pig, "Miss Piggy". He was a devoted son and brother helping his parents after he returned to Dover in 2006 with health problems. He was an extremely generous soul who would give the shirt off his back to those in need. Wayne is survived by three lovely daughters whom he loved very much., Kayla, Taylor, and Morgan Zimmerman of Buford, Ga.; his father, John Zimmerman, Jr. of Wyoming; and five siblings, John Zimmerman III and his wife Cher of Milford, Steve and Laura of Selbyville, Mike and wife Darlene of Wyoming, Susan Krabill and husband Kenny of Frederica and Gina Fries and husband Robert of Harrington; he leaves behind many nieces and nephews, two great-nieces, and a brand new granddaughter, Emily Owen born on Nov 21, 2012, all whom he loved dearly. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, Dec 2, 2012 at Pippin F.H. 119 W. C-W. Avenue, Wyoming, DE. Visitation is at noon. Internment will be at Sharon Hills Cemetery.
