SALISBURY, Md. - Walter H. Usilton Jr., also known as "Hess" or "Donnie," of Salisbury, Md., died Saturday, June 16, 2007, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was 72.
Born in Baltimore, he was the son of the late Walter H. and Dorothy Poole Usilton.
Mr. Usilton was an avid racing fan and a master carpenter.
He is survived by a son and his wife, Hank and Susan of Salisbury; a daughter and her husband, Vicky and Michael Ennis of Delmar; a step-son and his wife, Joe and Tammy Fretz; step-daughters, Kathy Taylor and Carolyn Roseberry; two sisters, Joyce Shaw and Joan Usilton; two brothers, Robert Usilton and Paul Usilton; nine grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in Holloway Funeral Home, Salisbury.
The Rev. J. Harvey Dixon will officiate.
Cremation will follow. The family requests that dress be casual.
