Virgie Grubb, 84

MILLSBORO - Virgie Grubb, passed on Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2008, in Beebe Medical Center, Lewes. She was 84. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Doug Collins in June 2008; a brother, Freddie Collins in Sept. 2008; and three sisters, Mae Wooten, Bessie Laxton, and Cuba Mann. She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Weldon Grubb; a daughter, Brenda K. Millman of Millsboro; two nieces, Dena Pulgini and Wilma Morris; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Services were 1 p.m. Monday, at the Watson Funeral Home, 211 S Washington St., Millsboro. Rev. J. Allen Miller officiated the service. Burial was at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Patriot's Way, Millsboro. Letters of condolence may be emailed via www.watsonfh.com.
