MILFORD - Vincente Valentone, of Milford, Del. formerly of Staten Island, N.Y., passed away on Friday, May 29, 2015 at Milford Memorial Hospital, Bayhealth Medical Center. Mr. Valentone was born in Bisignano Cosenza, Italy the son of the late Emilio and Loretta (Palobini) Valentone. He owned and operated his own tailor shop in New York City for many years before retiring in 2008, moving to Milford following his retirement. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Maria Valentone in 2008 and three brothers. He is survived by one son, Emilio Valentone and his wife, Lorraine, of Staten Island, N.Y.; one daughter, Jenny Valentone and Dean Knutsen, of Milford; five grandchildren, Anthony Valentone, Tyler Knutsen, Michael Valentone, Daniel Knutsen and Robert Knutsen; and one brother, Mario Valentone, of San Francisco, Calif. Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2015 at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, Del. where a funeral service will be held at 4 p.m.
