GOLDSBORO, Md. - Victor Sudnick of Goldsboro died Friday, Dec. 22, 2006, in Ruxton Nursing Home, Denton. He was 85.
Mr. Sudnick was born in Southampton, Mass., son of the late Joseph Sudnick and Frances Podraska Sudnick.
He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II where he served in North Africa.
He retired in 1992 after 20 years as a maintenance man at the Martin Spalding High School in Severn.
Mr. Sudnick was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 13 in Glen Burnie where he was also past vice commander.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Mark David Sudnick.
He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Elizabeth M. Sudnick; a son and a daughter-in-law, Bernard P. and JoAnn Sudnick of Goldsboro; a daughter and a son-in-law, Constance Lee and Alan Stubbs of Winterport, Maine; a brother, Peter Sudnick of Longmeadow, Mass.; a sister, Sophie Lafontaine of Southampton; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in Moore Funeral Home, PA, 12 S. Second St., Denton.
A funeral service will be 11 a.m. Wednesday in Living Waters Assembly, Double Hills Road, Denton.
Burial will be in Maryland Eastern Shore Veteran's Cemetery, Beulah near Hurlock.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Living Waters Assembly, 9058 Double Hills Road, Denton, MD 21629.
